After working from 7 AM to 2 PM in Manhattan yesterday, I took Amtrak to Providence, RI and got my car last night. I won't bore you with all the details, unless you are a motorhead and really want to know about tachometers, leather-wrapped steering wheels, alloy wheels and independent suspensions. Let's just say I did not come back with the new car I was going to get. I got a very slightly used car that blindsided me when I was going out to the lot to look at the barely adequate new car. I have all the rest of the factory warranty, a bumper-to bumper extended warranty to 100,000 miles, the same payment, and am very pleased.
Sadly, said car blindsided me just after we'd completed the process on the new car, so time-consuming paperwork needed to be re-done. It's a 3.5 hour drive. I got home at 2:30 AM last night.
